Nimesulide + Paracetamol Tablets are formulated having an antipyretic & an analgesic agent that are prescribed for providing relief from pain & fever associated with osteoarthritis & rheumatoid arthritis. They exert their curative effects by blocking synthesis of prostaglandins by acting on COX enzymes that are responsible for pain & inflammation. These tablets belong to class non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs with excellent protein binding ability of more than 97%. They get metabolized in liver with elimination half life of 1.8 to 4.7 hours and excretion mainly in kidney. Nimesulide + Paracetamol Tablets also exert mild antibacterial activity which enhances their activity.
