Nevorab Tablets

Nevorab Tablets are indicated for suppression of gastric acid in stomach due to various conditions including GERD & Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Upon ingestion, they get absorbed in parietal cells of stomach and binds to proton pump which is responsible for secretion of gastric acid. These tablets have been formulated having rabeprazole as active compound having molecular formula C18H21N3O3 with molar mass of 359.44 g/mol. They belong to drug class of proton pump inhibitors and show excellent protein binding ability of about 96.3% and bioavailability of 52%. Nevorab Tablets get metabolized in liver by CYP2C19 & CYP3A4 with elimination half life of about only 1 hour.
